• Creatives and content creators: reels, talking-head videos, before-and-after transitions, lookbooks and portfolio content, with optional lighting, a gimbal, wireless mics, a drone or a studio.

How long is the planning call?

📸Photo shoots

• Prices are for one person. Couples and families cost a little more: a 1-hour couples shoot is R1,360 and a 1-hour family shoot is R1,710, paid in full.
• Roughly 15 more photos for every extra half hour after 2 hours.
• Hand-picked and edited in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop: colour, light, skin retouching and clean-up.
• Two sizes of every photo: full resolution for printing, plus web-size copies for sharing and social media.
• Who chooses the photos? You decide when you book: I pick the best ones for you (quickest, ready within 7 days), or you choose your own favourites. If you choose, you get all the raw, unedited high-res JPEGs to select from after the shoot, and editing starts once I have your selection, so it takes longer than 7 days. This applies to photos only; video is edited by me.

🎬Video shoots

Your video comes in one of three formats. We choose the one that suits you at your planning call.

• Prices: 1 hour R1,360, 90 minutes R1,750, 2 hours R2,170, 3 hours R2,940, 4 hours R3,670, a full day R6,120 (one person, paid in full).
• Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro, with colour grading and titles in After Effects, and licensed music.
• Delivered in 4K and 1080p (MP4), in widescreen for YouTube and websites and vertical (9:16) for Instagram Reels, TikTok and WhatsApp Status.
• Great for: talking-head videos, before-and-after transitions, brand content, couples films, events and travel.

🎞️Photos and video

• You get the video package for your length (in the format you choose) plus about 70% of the photo count, because we share the time between the two.
• Shorter sessions: photos and video can be booked from 30 minutes (R1,360 paid in full). 1 hour is R2,100, 2 hours R3,360, 3 hours R4,580, 4 hours R5,670 and a full day R9,520.
• Example, 2 hours: about 50 edited photos, plus a 60 to 90-second reel with 3 vertical clips, or 6 to 8 edits of 15 seconds, or 3 to 5 edits of 30 seconds.

⏱️Delivery times

• Standard (free): photos within 7 days, video within 14 days of the shoot, when I pick the best photos for you.
• If you choose your favourite photos: you get all the raw, unedited high-res JPEGs after the shoot to select from, and your edited photos arrive within 7 days of your selection.
• Rush 48 hours (+R450): your full set within 48 hours.
• Rush 24 hours (+R850): up to 30 edited photos and/or a video of up to 60 seconds within 24 hours.

🧰Optional extras

• Artificial lighting +R1,150: lights set up on location, for evening, indoor or moody shots.
• Gimbal +R850: smooth, steady moving video.
• Wireless mics +R550: clear sound for talking-head and interview video.
• Drone +R3,500: aerial photos and video, where the weather and local rules allow.
• Studio hire: prefer a studio? Choose a natural-light studio (R750 an hour) or a studio with lights and a cyc wall (R1,000 an hour), with a 2-hour minimum. I book the studio and send you the address.
• Travel: free within about 20 km of the Cape Town CBD (the City Bowl and CBD, Camps Bay, Clifton, Sea Point, the V&A Waterfront, Signal Hill). The whole Peninsula (Llandudno, Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak, Noordhoek, Muizenberg, Kalk Bay) is R250, Blouberg R350, Stellenbosch R1,250, Franschhoek R1,750, Hermanus R4,500 and Langebaan R5,000. You see the exact fee before you pay.

• Pay in full when you book and get 30% off the session. Your booking is secured straight away.
• Pay half now and get 15% off. Your booking is secured straight away, and the rest is due when your photos or video are delivered.
• Pay after the shoot and pay the full price, with no discount. I email you an invoice after the shoot. Unpaid bookings aren’t reserved, so your time is only secured once I confirm it with you.
• Secure card payments online. Travel, rush delivery and gear rental aren’t discounted.

📄Using your photos and video

• Personal shoots (lifestyle, couples, family, travel, headshots, portfolio): personal use, including social media.
• Brand and event shoots include a commercial usage licence: website, social media, ads and marketing, with no time limit.

How many photos do I get from a 1-hour photo shoot?

About 35 edited photos, in full resolution and web size, delivered within 7 days.

What video do I get from a 2-hour video shoot?

Is the planning call really free?

Yes. Every shoot includes a free planning call (15 minutes for a 1-hour shoot, 30 minutes for 90 minutes, 45 minutes for 2 hours, up to an hour for longer shoots), plus a mood board and/or shot list.

Do I get the raw files?

Yes, if you choose your own favourite photos: you get all the raw, unedited high-res JPEGs from your shoot to select from. If I pick the best ones for you, you get the edited photos. Video is always edited by me.

Can I choose which photos get edited?

Yes, for photos. When you book, choose “I’ll choose my favourites”. After the shoot you get all the raw, unedited high-res JPEGs, send me your selection, and your edited photos arrive within 7 days of it. Or let me pick the best ones, which is quicker.

How quickly will I get my photos?

Within 7 days as standard, or within 24 or 48 hours with rush delivery.

Can I use the photos for my business?

Yes, if you book a brand or event shoot, which includes a commercial usage licence.

How far ahead do I need to book?

You can book online from 8 hours before your shoot time, subject to availability.
